Frogs love spring!
Fernando is a spring dumpling. Unfortunately, spring in our part of the world is a little chilly so he’s still needs a scarf, but I don’t think he minds. He relies on his simple but charming shape and embroidered details to warm your heart. He also features 2 ways to finish off his feet, fabric or crochet, and just like my other patterns, both are crocheted on… That means no joint seams!

Fernando is a 6 inch frog. He’s crocheted together (not seamed) for extra durability, except for eye details. Scarf is removable.

This pattern has 11 pages full of all the info an experienced crocheter would need to make this little treasure; including technique descriptions and photos. I would rate this as “intermediate” , and requires only minimal embroidery skills.
Optional scarf requires basic knitting skills.

Suggested materials: wool and wool blend yarn (worsted weight, at least 1 colors ~100 yds ea.), polyester or natural filling, 12-14 mm glass or plastic safety eyes, cotton fabric, and felt.
