The Feronia Wrap is a batwing or winged crescent shawl, worked from the center top starting with a tab cast on. The truly all-over lace starts at the cast on and works through four repeating charts to the bind off.

BE SURE TO READ THE DIRECTIONS. Many knitters email me to say there is an error in the stitch counts. There is not. You will have 23 sts after Row 8 of Chart A has been worked. (Rows 1-8 are the set up Rows and are only worked once. Rows 9-12 are the repeat rows for Chart A.) You will have 39 sts after Row 12 has been worked the first time.
The ‘All Rows’ directions spell out how to work the charts. Each chart is worked twice per row - once on each side of the center stitch. This is typical of triangle shawls. Visit this page for a visual. The ‘Top Down’ shawl is what we are working here. Each arrow is where the chart is worked.
