There has been so much interest on my social media (link text / https://www.instagram.com/p/CNr1NJGJ31k/) in this cardigan, inspite of it being completely freestyled, I have created a visual tutorial sharing the process of making it. It really is a great way of using up your stash of odds and ends of yarn.

I hope it is useful, as long as you can knit and purl and change colours you will be able to make this cardigan. It is perfect for festival season, it is bright and colourful with a real 70’s boho vibe.

Skill Level: Beginner

Notes: I used all of the odd balls of yarn that I had in my stash, the majority of which were Rowan yarns: Kidsilk Haze, Fine Lace, Handknit Cotton and more.

You will need: stash of yarn balls of ANY weight, blended together to equal SUPER CHUNKY WEIGHT; you will need about 1 kg of yarn in total.

Remember the finished cardigan will be quite heavy and the finished measurements will increase when it is worn from the weight of the yarn. Remember to allow for this.
