Here is a striking poncho I’ve designed for the festival season!

I wanted to design a poncho which was reminiscent of the 60s / 70s and was nice and colourful.

I’m really pleased with how the colours work together in the stripe pattern.

The poncho is knitted in the round up until the v-neck shaping.

I designed the neckline to have a slight gather which adds some additional flared shaping to the back which I think looks great.

To finish of the poncho and to give it some extra detail, I added some cool braiding to the front to give it a truly unique style.

I absolutely love wearing this poncho and it was great fun to knit.
