There is no size as you can easily adapt and use larger needles or different yarns but I did use am Aran weight for this pattern .

This is a Christmas yarn destash project. I found after knitting my bobble hats that I had about 100 metres left so I knitting a Xmas Bauble for my Christmas Tree.
