Three styles of tea cosy in double knit yarn.
The pattern uses charts for block colour knitting (intarsia) for the windows and doors. I have given a link to an excellent tutorial for anyone new to this. I tried a new technique using slip stitch for the windows and have included full instructions. (its much easier than following the block colour for small sections of colour)
The front and back walls are worked separately then the roof is knit in one piece across the top of both walls.
Charts are included for motifs.

I have given ideas for the shrubs etc - but as i’m not great at embroidery use your own imagination and skills here!

For the Halloween cottage I’ve also included a knitted witch but this is optional.

I used a slightly small needle than usual for the main knitting as this gives a thicker texture to give better insulation.
