The Fiarlán shawl has an undulating pattern carried through the entire
shawl-body. With a simple 6-stitch repeat that is mirrored on each side
of the shawl’s center, this is a delightfully easy knit for beginners and
expert knitters alike.

The shawl can be as large or as small as you’d like it!
The photo in the pattern is a large shawl with 1500 yards of laceweight yarn. Shawls have been completed with 400 yards of sock and also 700 yards of light fingering. A test knitter has completed this shawl with super-bulky and found it to be both beautiful and cozy.

Instructions are both written and charted.

Skills include: Cast-on, Knit, Purl, Yarn-Over, K2tog, Ssk, Bind-off.

Beading is optional but suggested bead-placement is noted in the shawl.

While the photos depicted are of a gradient-shawls, this pattern works beautifully in solid colors, using coordinating stripes of yarn remnants, or in variegated yarns.
