Strickweise:
Der Fibonacci Shawl wird von einer seitlichen Spitze zur anderen seitlichen Spitze gestrickt. Dabei werden über die gesamte Stricklänge von Spitze zu Spitze Mittel-Maschen gearbeitet. Auf der einen Seite der Mittel-Maschen wird das Fibonacci-Lace-Muster gestrickt, während auf der anderen Seite immer kraus rechts gestrickt wird.
Das Tuch zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass es einerseits durch das Fibonacci-Lace-Muster eine gewisse Symmetrie durch die Wiederholung der einzelnen Mustersätze aufweist; andererseits ist es durch durch die Form asymmetrisch.
In der Anleitung ist ebenfalls die Anweisung enthalten, wie das Tuch symmetrisch gestrickt werden kann, das bedeutet, dass die zweite Spitze nicht gestrickt wird und der kraus-rechts Teil ganz ausläuft.

Hintergrund/Inspiration:
Die Fibonacci-Folge ist die unendliche Folge natürlicher Zahlen, die zweimal mit der Zahl 1 beginnt (oder zusätzlich mit einer führenden Zahl 0). Im Anschluss ergibt jeweils die Summe zweier aufeinanderfolgender Zahlen die unmittelbar danach folgende Zahl (siehe Wikipedia):

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, …

21 Maschen x 38 Reihen = 10 x 10 cm (kraus rechts)

ca. 80 cm (gemessen an der breitesten Stelle)

Länge des Tuchs:
ca. 200 cm (gemessen von Spitze zu Spitze)

300 Gramm Soft Sock (400 m / 100g) von RockTheWool (ich habe die Färbung “Krümelchen” verwendet)

Information
The Fibonacci Shawl is knitted from one lateral tip to the other. Across the length of the shawl a middle stitch pattern is worked.
On the one side of the middle stitches the Fibonacci pattern is worked and on the other side of the middle stitches a garter stitch pattern is worked.
On the one hand the Fibonacci pattern makes the shawl symmetrical but on the other hand it is asymmetrical because of its form.
The pattern also contains the instructions for a symmetrical version. This means, that the garter stitch part will be decreased until there is only 1 stitch of this part left. This means that the shawl does not have two tips, but only one.
