This is a beginner level and up pattern, using a combined basic Filet Mesh stitch and the crochet method called Colorblock. Colorblock uses multiple colors, usually 3, and my 3 represent our favorite local college football team, the S.C. Clemson Tigers. They won the ACC Championship game in 2015 and were 5 points short of being the National Champions. Maybe next year!

It’s made with worsted weight, any kind you like providing that all 3 are the same style, such as fuzzy, rope-like, have the same twist on strand, etc.. You can pick any 3 colors you wish to use, in fact 2 or 4 but other quantities of colors won’t give you the look mine has.

This pieces can be worn hanging down long, but looks best wrapped around your neck once to give you a nice size of show of all colors, and warmth without too much bulk. This stitch is fun to do, and easy enough to get moving on and before you know it, you’ve gotten several rows done without realizing it. I love the look of it with many yarn weights.

I’m estimating that each color section probably takes takes no more than 4 yds each if that much, but to be safe I’d be sure to have at least 5 yds of each color due to knots, tangles and other issues. I had no label to tell me how much yarn I had when I began. Finished size 6” W X 66”L

All of my patterns written with standards in an easy to follow format. Anytime you plan to buy multiple pcs from me at one time, pls message me on here, email me, or fb pm me if you’re on my friend list there, and I’ll be glad to do a discount price for you! All contact links are on my profile page.
