This is an amazingly versatile cowl pattern that can function as a frigid-weather necessity or a beautifully drapey accessory. Simple written and charted instructions enable the knitter to create the piece that is perfect for them. The choice of yarn will also influence the thickness and drape factor, and suggestions are given for using your yarn. The cable element is strong enough for multicolored yarns, and interesting enough to stand up to solids.

The small size measures approximately 8.7” tall and 17” around. The ribbing is very stretchy, so the small is a perfect choice for those battling the polar vortex. Larger sizes will increase the width, and instructions are given for a shorter cowl. Your mileage will vary according to your yarn choice, but the pattern is suitable over a very wide range of yarn weight.
