This handsome scarf uses the 5-color Stockinette Brioche Stitch together with garter and brioche stitches. Stockinette Brioche has the characteristics of a normally knitted stockinette fabric; meaning that the edges will roll. That is why panels of garter and brioche stitch (which is a ribbed fabric) were added every once in a while to keep the scarf laying flat.

I used 5 different colored skeins of Koigu’s KPM. I used all up all 5 skeins to make this scarf.

This project is a wonderful stash buster. You can use any odd number of colors or yarns, and you can change any one of the yarns at any time.
