A graceful ballerina or yogi I am not, but I strive for balance in my life. Mostly, I look for that perfect harmony of knitting, coffee, and wine, especially that perfect time of day when it’s not too late for coffee, but not too early for wine. At least one thing I can be sure of: it’s always time for knitting!

I’m a total yarn ADDICT, with a ridiculous stash that I can never dream of using up before I die. That being said, when Hedgehog Fibre released their new base, Chubby, I was intrigued, excited, OBSESSED!!! I had to get my hands on it, I just HAD to! And of course, I couldn’t just buy a skein or two to test it out, I bought ten. So thank goodness (and thank Hedgehog, of course!) it’s completely amazing, and I’m in love with it!!!

Each color was better than the last! My Finding Balance uses Typewriter, Shiver, Monet, Velvet, Dragonfly, Eel, and Hunter.

I’m on a cable kick right now, and playing with changing colors within the cables, so Finding Balance evolved from a pile of beautiful yarn into a luxurious textured wrap.

Mine uses 7 different colors (50-55 yards each), each picking up a color or two from the ones next to it, but you can easily adapt the pattern to use however many colors you want (there are instructions on how to do this).
