Material:
150g Tabalinowolle My Softi (100g = 300m)
200g Unisono uni (100g = 300m)

“Findlinge” (Fieldstones) is a triangular shawl in the short rows technique.
The Fieldstones (“rocks”), spread throughout the shawl in a random, but still deliberate fashion, are knitted in the Swing-Light™ technique.

The pattern is written as detailed row-by-row description, so previous experience with Swing-Light™ or the Swing-Knitting™ technique as well as the knowledge of specialized vocabulary are not necessary to complete this project.

If you can knit, purl and count, you will be able to make this shawl if you follow the instructions.

Materials:
– MC yarn: 150 grams / 450 meters [5.25 oz / 492 yards] “Tabalino yarn”, long color repeat, yardage 300 m [328 yds] per 100 g [3.5 oz]

– CC yarn: 200 grams / 600 meters [7 oz / 656 yards] solid colored fingering weight yarn, yardage 300 m [328 yds] per 100 g [3.5 oz] (for the rests)

– Circular knitting needle 3.5 mm [US 4], about 100 cms [40 in] long

– (3) stitch markers = 1 red, 1 blue and 1 purple, or other colors

The sample was knit from 150 grams [5.25 oz] of the designer’s hand-dyed Tabalino “My Softi” (available in the designer’s shop) plus 200 grams
[7 oz] of solid colored “Unisono by Zitron” yarn. Any other fingering weight yarn is just as fine, as long as one of them has long color repeats and the other is a matching solid.

For the pictured shawl, 330g were used in all of both colors, and both yarns have a yardage of 300 m [328 yds] per 100 g [3.5 oz].
