This is a fancy frilly sock worked up in a yarn with a decided un-fancy name. SugarbeeStudios MCN yarn is delicious and rich and despite (or because of?) the un-PC name, Toe Curling ‘O’ is the colorway that everyone loves best.

This sock is worked top down magic loop style with a heel flap. It is offered in 64 and 72-stitch counts, with written and charted instructions for the lovely lace pattern.

Note: In the 64 st version there is a double yarnover on certain rows of the lace pattern. If you don’t like the larger hole that the double yo makes, you can fix it as follows: Work only a single yarnover instead. When you come back around to that row, knit into the front and the back of that yarnover, bringing the st count back up.
