This pattern explains how to do the finger crochet technique to create giant single crochet stitches. Using 3 skeins of a jumbo-sized yarn you can make a small blanket. Once you understand the pattern, you can adapt the pattern to make a larger blanket.

The yarn I use is widely available at big box craft stores, although it comes in 2 lengths. You want the larger, 64-yard length. Or you could buy an extra skein of the smaller one. You could also substitute a super bulky yarn and hold 3 strands together at a time. You would need 6 skeins then. Other jumbo sized yarns are becoming more widely available in craft stores and online, and you can always use one and adjust your gauge.

Note that you do not need a crochet hook as you will use your fingers instead. There was no option for “no hook” so I just selected 25 mm.
