These fingerless mittens are knitted in the round on 4 double pointed needles, with the thumb hole being worked back and forth and then joined up again to work in the round, it means no sewing up,
except for sewing in the two ends at the start and finish.
Both mittens are worked the same so no complications with left and right hand.

my pattern will fit the average woman’s hand from 6 ½ inches up to 7 ½ inches, but they are easily adaptable, which is explained on the pattern. They measure approximately 7 inches long.

You will need a set of 5mm (US8) double pointed needles
2 x 50gm balls of Aran weight yarn (10ply)
