After several patterns for grown-ups I finally designed a pattern for fingerless mittens for children. My daugther really wanted a pair too.

The length of the mitts is 6.7 inch / 17.5 cm. They are 5.3 inches / 13.5 cm wide and photographed on hands which measure 6.3 inch / 16 cm around.

What you need is four double pointed knitting needles number 6 (US 10) and about 70 yd / 65 m of yarn.
