This tutorial explains how to knit a 1/1 ribbed border for a rectangular project knitted in stockinette stitch and avoid curled edges. You can knit perfect angles, with symmetrical stitches. There is no yarn indication, needle or finished size given, the choice is up to you ! But don’t worry, each stitch is shown in pictures, you can become a master of yarn over, and twisted stitches, slanting towards left or right !

Ce tutoriel vous permet de tricoter une bordure en côtes 1/1, en rond, après avoir relevé les mailles d’un ouvrage carré ou rectangulaire tricoté en jersey, pour éviter que celui-ci ne roulotte. Il vous permet d’avoir des angles nets, les points étant tricotés symétriquement.

Ce patron ne contient aucune indication d’échantillon, de numéro d’aiguilles, de laine à utiliser ni de dimensions finales. A vous la liberté ! Mais pas d’inquiétude, chaque point est illustré par une photographie, ce qui vous permettra de devenir expert(e) en mailles torses, penchées à gauche ou à droite !
