Finsbury squirrel with acorn basket
Finsbury Squirrel is busy today collecting acorns.
This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own Finsbury Squirrel, basket and acorns. The patterns include instructions and lots of photos to help you make your own little friend.
The 11 page pattern is written so it is easier for beginners to follow. You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, casting on and off, intarsia colour knitting, i-cord, sewing seams, increases and decreases.
All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles, except the i-cord pieces which are knitted on two double pointed needles (DPNs). The squirrel uses less than 100g of grey wool and is knitted on 3.25mm needles.
The finished squirrel is 14cm tall.
