The simple knit and purl combinations highlight the gorgeous hand-dyed merino and suri alpaca/mulberry silk yarns. Fiona starts with a garter tab (see video link in the pattern) and simple increases create a beautiful triangular shawl.

Skill Level:
Advanced Beginner: Knit, purl, kfb, m1

Yarn:
Approximately 436 yards 400 m fingering weight yarn and 328 yards suri 300m.

Cover sample shown using: 1 skein Wooly Warbler fingering (100% superwash merino; 436 yards 400m per 100 gr. and 1 skein Wooly Warbler Suri (74% baby suri alpaca, 26% mulberry silk; 328 yards 300m per 50 gr.)

Other sample: 1 skein Kelbourne Cricket fingering (100% merino; 415 yards 380m per 100 gr. and 1 skein Wooly Warbler Suri (74% baby suri alpaca, 26% mulberry silk; 328 yards 300m per 50 gr.)

Needles:
US 5 3.75 mm 32-inch circular.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Gauge:
Approximately 14 stitches by 13 rows = 4” 10 cm in stockinette after blocking.

Size:
23 inches 58cm by 52 inches 132 cm after blocking.

Construction:
Knit flat.
