This project starts from the top of the shawl by casting- on 5 stitches and proceeds to the bottom of the shawl with two identical segments on each side of the center stitch. For this reason, I recommend starting a small swatch with heavier yarn in order to understand the construction of the shawl. You will see how quickly the project moves along.
