A pair of slippers with a cute campfire on the top of the foot: the right pair to take with you on vacation next summer!

The pattern includes:

  • written instructions for shaping.
  • duplicate stitch is charted only,
  • a photo tutorial for optional sole.

Skill level: intermediate.

Techniques: knit/purl in the round, short row heel, grafting, duplicate stitch.

Yarn: 200-250 yards of your favorite fingering weight sock yarn.
Small leftovers of brown, yellow, orange and red.

Size: Woman medium (8” around foot, length totally adjustable).
To modify size, check gauge then go down (smaller) or up (larger) a needle size. Easy tip!

Tools: Size US 2 1/2 / 3 mm (or size to get gauge) set of 5 DPNs, 2 circular needles or 1 long circular needle for magic loop; tapestry needle; scissors; 1 stitch marker.

Optional materials (it you want to add a sole): shoe sole, sewing thread, sewing needle, pins.
