One of two sock designs in the Fire - Elements Sock Collection II pattern, Fireside is a tribute to the fires built for human gatherings throughout history. The richly textured stitch pattern used in this design is more complex than it’s partner design, Lava Flow, but it has a rhythm to the pattern, making it a pleasure to knit. Fireside Socks will show off this patterning best in a solid or nearly solid yarn color.

Both Fireside and Lava Flow (the other design in the Fire Socks pattern) are knit top down and all stitch patterns are in charted and written out form.
