Not a purl stitch in sight! This reversible garter stitch shawl features bands of modest lace and a playful asymmetrical shape, perfect for both beginners and experienced knitters! Using just one cake of HiKoo® Madrona, this cozy accessory knits up in no time on US 7 needles! Named after the berry for which the red color is inspired, the lace sections resemble little berry clusters!

The baby alpaca, merino, and viscose blend create a lustrous fabric nearly as soft as cashmere, with exceptional drape and stitch definition.

The shape is achieved by increasing and decreasing simultaneously on the RS rows and increasing on the WS rows, so one stitch is increased every 2 rows. This method creates a gently tilted triangle shape perfect for wrapping effortlessly around your neck. A sturdy i-cord edge is worked on both sides and the shawl is then finished with a picot bind off.
