A quick and fun pattern, with enough shaping to keep your attention. It is made in one piece, and requires only a minimal amount of seaming.

Suitable for an average knitter.

The pattern includes instructions for making adjustments to obtain sizes in between those given in the main instructions (i.e. 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52). The length is easily modified, and the bust darts can be made larger or smaller as well. The back of the vest arches up in the middle and is therefore a bit shorter than the sides, and the front is a bit longer due to the little points.

Use a yarn with good stitch definition to show off the increases and decreases, or use a self striping yarn to highlight the sideways construction for the lower front. It would look great with a contrasting coloured trim as well.
