This is a very basic top-down sock pattern whose intent is to guide a first-time or newbie sock maker through the process without much wringing of hands.

The socks are worked on five double-pointed needles, with the sock stitches being evenly distributed on four needles and the fifth needle as the working needle.

Any fingering weight yarn can be used and the pattern will fit a medium to large woman’s foot or a medium men’s foot.

The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for joining the toe with a Kitchener Stitch.
