Fisherman’s cowl has a simple but lovely fisher net cable section, mini-cables and garter stitch border on both sides. It’s convertible and can be worn in three different ways:

  • as a designer, baggy cowl in warm days
  • as a chestwarmer or mini-poncho, whenever you need it
  • as a close-to-neck, tight cowl, during the windy weather

Choose your way to wear it! :)

Size and gauge

Size: It’s a one size piece, but the final effect depends on your gauge and the yarn you choose. Final measurements can vary without any loss to the finished project. If you like your cowl smaller, use the thinner yarn or smaller needles.

Gauge: 8x8 cm square = 10 stitches and 14 rows in garter stitch.

Materials needed

  • 7.0 mm needles
  • Cable needle
  • 6 buttons (7th is optional)
  • 4 stitch markers
