Fishies

These cute little fishies are fun and easy to knit. Using only a small amount of yarn, they are ideal for those little bits of leftover yarn.
They are knitted in one piece with only a little sewing up at the tail end.
Stuff them with a little catnip and you have a fun and addicting toy for your cat! Knit several of them for a decoration or you can turn them into a fishing game with a fishing rod and a bit of velcro.
The ideas are endless!
Materials: any worsted pure wool which is feltable. Fiber fill or dried catnip to stuff fish.
Needles: US size 2.5 (3 mm) dpns
Gauge: exact gauge isn’t important.
Finished Size: approximately 2 inches (5 cm) felted and 3 inches (7 cm) unfelted
