The ideal pullover for cold days using stranded knitting and a traditional, Nordic all over pattern. It combines perfectly with the beautiful Fish pattern (= Fiske in Swedish) for the border.

The Fiske pattern was an exciting find from ifdefelseif. Here is the link:

The sweater is knitted in the traditional style, in the round and with steeked armholes and neck opening. The sleeves are set in for a better fit. A warm shawl collar completes the look.

The recommended yarn is Shetland style lambswool in 4ply weight, knitted with circular US 5 / 3.5mm needles.

Recommended yarns are Shetland style yarns in sport weight or 4ply weight.
Approx yardage:
Colour A: 1060 (1235, 1400, 1515) yds or 970 (1130, 1280, 1385) m
Colour B: 730 (850, 960, 1040) yds or 670 (780, 880, 950) m.

Please, keep in mind that these numbers are approximate, and how tightly you strand your knitting can make a big difference.

The instructions are for ladies’ sizes S to XL, but the design is really unisex and can be adapted to men’s sizes, too.
