So….I started knitting woolies for my daughter based on simple calculations that I made…and alas…the perfectly fit garment was born. I thought “Why not put my formulations in an easy to follow format so other knitters can measure their babies and be able to knit perfectly fit longies or shortes?!?” So…the pattern was born…

This pattern is an easy to follow Excel Spreadsheet. If you don’t have MS Excel (2007) you can download Open Office here http://download.openoffice.org/ for free and use the Calc program.

All you have to do is open the tab that shows where you enter the measurements, enter them and go to the directions page. All of your custom directions will be laid out for you. No long list of numbers and sizes to juggle! Just YOUR numbers. You can use ANY needles and ANY yarn! Your finished product will be perfectly fit woolies every time!
