Update April 2015:

With baby number 3 on the way, and life getting crazy with two little ones, I’m not sure when I’m going to figure this pattern out. It generally works, and if you have a bit of experience knitting, it should work great. I might pull it later, but for now, hopefully it can be of some use.

There are some errors in this that I don’t have time to fix right now. I will fix them at some point, hopefully soon! Until then, pattern will remain free. Thank you for your feedback in helping me find these errors!!

This pattern will be free until after testing. Pattern includes tutorials for basic longies skills needed and many cuff options.

I am also looking for people who would be willing to knit up and send pictures of the different cuff options so that I can give examples in the pattern, especially ruffles!

About This Pattern:
This pattern has been developed from a pair of longies that my little girl has worn for over a year and which have fit her beautifully the entire time. I then added features that I have come to like while making other longies. The pattern is designed to fit loose and casual at first, but as the child grows, it will become more fitted in the bum. Not tight, just fitted. There is plenty of room for cloth diapers but notes for disposable or non diapered children are included as well.
