Really almost a feminine pinstripe, this flattering and easy-to-wear sweater is knit out on both sides from the centre back. Pick either the hip-length or the cropped style (MM-J calls this the “shrug” version) to show off your lines. Selvedge stitches are built in, and the whole is written with the author’s usual meticulous attention to detail. It’s simple to figure out how to modify the neck if you’d rather have a brooch close than the ties-- it’s really a marvel of versatility, and shows off a beautiful yarn wonderfully well.
