Flip-top mittens are knit in two stages. Knitter makes fingerless gloves, then picks up stitches on the back of each glove, casts on for the palm-side stitches, & knits the mitten tops.
Picking up stitches for the mitten tops make each mitten hand-specific items.

SIZED TO FIT: woman’s S, woman’s M, woman’s L/man’s S, man’s M, man’s L
KNIT CIRCUMFERENCE (at knuckles): 7(7.5,8,8.5,9) inches
GAUGE: 20 sts = 4 inches, or, 5 sts = 1 inch

INGREDIENTS:
175(175,190,190,205) yards yarn with a ball band gauge of 4-4.5 sts = 1” on 8US needle - i.e. worsted weight yarn
Set 5 DPNs #7US/4.5mm or size to get gauge. Stitch marker, yarn in contrasting color for holding sts, tapestry needle, spare #3 US/3.25mm DPN.
