I was inspired to write this pattern after reading an article by Lucy Neatby on Garter Heel socks. The garter heel and toe make the sock especially cushy and comfortable, and I think it helps them wear better. And, I love socks made from Cascade Fixation yarn because they hold their shape.

The cuff can be folded down on these socks to wear them like anklets.
