Inspired by menswear looks from brands like Ralph Lauren - which of course are inspired by traditional Fair Isle patterns in turn - the Flagship Vest knits up fast in our Bon Tricot Jolly DK. This vest is worked entirely in the round, with four steeks for the front and back neck and the armholes. If you’ve never cut your knitting before, this project offers the chance to try this liberating and exhilarating technique.

Two colourways are offered in this pattern. The brighter, primary one was the original, while the more landscape-based palette was developed by quilting artist Deborah Kemball, who is also a fabulous knitter. Charts are offered for both versions.

The sample shown is size 2, worn with 2” / 5 cm of negative ease. Wear this with anywhere from -2 to +2 inches of ease in the bust.
