Flame chevron socks were designed to show off vibrant colors in self striping yarn with an interesting stitch pattern. The Flame Chevron motif is lightly biased, so it gently breaks up the lines of stripes. The addition of lace combined with the placement of decreases allows the fabric to retain more stretch than most chevron fabrics, giving you a fit similar to stockinette stitch. If you prefer to highlight every detail of your stitches, the design would also look fabulous in a plain yarn.

This pattern is provided in a wide range of sizes, to allow the knitter to adjust needle size and gauge to their taste and their yarn. The sizes given should allow you to fit all ages, including children and adult men. Please adjust any portions of the pattern you desire to your taste!
