Flesberg is a slouchy stranded hat knit in the round.

This pattern has been offered as a yarn-and-pattern-kit on Le Chat Qui Tricote online store troughout December 2014. The pattern will be available in french and english on Ravelry from January 1st 2015.

The motif is inspired by a pair of traditional wristlets from the region of Flesberg in Norway. The hat starts with a simple ribbed brim, which flows into plain stockinette stitch. A simple charted pattern is knit throughout and ends with a new plain stockinette stitch section. The hat is then finished by simple decreases evenly spaced, and a pompom is sewn on top. This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter knowing how to knit stranded in the round, or for an adventurous beginner. It does not explain the technique of stranded knitting, nor does it explain the use of chart, but no need to be an expert to enjoy knitting this hat.

The hat comes in two sizes:
Size 1 (42 cm circumference unstretched); Size 2(51 cm circumference unstretched). Both sizes fits a head 56 cm, but with different ease (fitted or slouchy).

Yarn requirements:
Sample hats in blue and white are knit in Le Chat Qui Tricote Chamaille colour Jeans and Entrechat, a soft and hardwearing BFL superwash sports yarn.
S1 (blue with white motifs) uses approx. 63g MC and 14g CC.
S2 (whit with blue motifs) uses approx. 65g MC and 17g CC.
With two skeins of 100 g hanks of sport yarn, you can knit 2 hats switching MC and CC.

Flesberg est un bonnet jacquard tricoté en rond sur des aiguilles circulaires.

Le patron a ete proposé comme un kit-patron-laine sur l’e-boutique Le Chat Qui Tricote pendant tout le mois de décembre 2014. Il sera ensuite disponible en français et anglais sur Ravelry à partir du 1er janvier 2015.

Le motif de ce bonnet est inspiré par des chauffe-poignets traditionnels trouvés dans la région de Flesberg en Norvège. Ce bonnet commence par des côtes avec une douce transition vers la partie jersey. Le motif en jacquard est tricoté en suivant le diagramme, et continue ensuite par du jersey simple. On finit par des diminutions régulières avant de resserrer les mailles restantes par un fil. Le bonnet est orné d’un pompon. Le patron conviendrait à une tricoteuse intermédiaire qui sait déjà tricoter le jacquard en rond, ou une débutante aventureuse qui a déjà tricoté en rond. Il n’explique ni la technique du jacquard, ni l’utilisation des diagrammes. Il n’est néanmoins pas nécessaire d’être une experte pour prendre plaisir à tricoter ce bonnet.

Le bonnet est proposé en deux tailles :
T1 (42 cm circonférence à plat), T2 (51 cm circonférence à plat).
Les deux tailles peuvent convenir pour une tête de 56 cm, porté serré ou relâché.

Laine utilisé :
Les deux bonnets blancs et bleus sont tricotés en Le Chat Qui Tricote Chamaille couleur Jeans en Entrechat. C’est une laine BFL superwash à la fois douce et résistante.
T1 (bleu avec motif blanc sur les photos) utilise env. 63g CP et 14g CC.
T2 (blanc avec motif bleu sur les photos) utilise env. 65g CP et 17g CC
Avec deux écheveaux de 100g de laine sport, vous pouvez faire deux bonnets en inversant les couleurs principal et complémentaire.
