Fletching is a delightful pair of socks adorned with a centre panel of arrow-like lace, which splits off to either side of the ankle. The pattern works well in variegated yarn, but would be equally lovely in a solid or semi-solid.

Format:
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the lace, as well as directions for a short-row heel.

Sizing:
The pair is written to fit a woman’s medium/US 8, but the foot and leg lengths are adaptable.

Materials:

  • 1 skein of Nerd Girl Yarns Bounce & Stomp (463y/100g, 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon)

    or

  • About 250 yards of sock/fingering weight yarn

  • A pair of US 1 32” / 2.25mm 80cm circular needle for magic loop or a set of US 1 / 2.25mm DPNs.
