I’ve incorporated the royal French fleur-de-lys symbol onto a peasant-style hat. The hat is knit from the bottom up in stockinette stitch, which forms a rolled edge. The motif Is worked in intarsia as the hat is knit. The square top is knitted separately and crocheted from the right side to the top of the hat to complete. the shape. Cross-stitches are then worked around the seam for the rustic peasant effect, and the tassels are sewn to three corners of the crown. Viva le France!
