Fingerless mitts with Latvian braids, corrugated ribbing, and colourwork- a great practice piece for any of the techniques.

Warmth while you work (or knit) and pretty too - use up some partial balls in coordinating colours and be a proud frugal knitter.

Cuff is 3 sets of braids, then corrugated ribbing, topped off with another set of braids. The colourwork motif is based on an African mud cloth pattern and would look spiffy with my Mud Foot socks.

Enjoy!

Note re sizing: The mitt is charted for a medium hand but you can easily remove up to 6 stitches of the flower motif and the same number from the checkerboard palm to make it smaller (just take a marker and line out the stitches you don’t need)
