This lightweight top / tunic is knit from the bottom up in the round. The A-line shape is achieved with decreases at the sides. The back and front are then worked back and forth in stockinette stitch, the shoulders are grafted together with Kitchener stitch. Stitches are picked up for the neckband and armholes, and finished in garter stitch.

Yarn ~ fingering weight linen:
260 (290, 320, 360) (400, 450, 500) yards.
Pictured samples were made in Quince and Co. Sparrow.

Needles:
US 5 / 3.75mm circular needles ~ 40 (40, 40, 40) (40, 60, 60) cm.
US 4 / 3.5mm dpns or 80cm circular needle for edging.

Notions:
5 stitch markers, holders / waste yarn, tapestry needle.

Sizing:
6m (1, 2, 3) (4, 6, 8) years.

To fit chest size:
Approx. 17 (19, 21, 22) (23, 25, 26.5) inches /
43 (48, 53.5, 56) (58.5, 63.5, 67.5) cm.

Use the schematic to choose a size with approx. 1 - 2 inches / 2.5 – 5 cm of positive ease.
