Designed to showcase Dream in Color’s September 2014 colorway in all the colors of fall foliage, the Flight of the Maple Seed scarf features a simple eyelet pattern shaped after the “helicopter” seeds that drop from maple trees in autumn.

ERRATA: this pattern was updated on 6 Sept 2014. The changes were:
•a note added under Row 27 - “Note: all future references to “repeat from * to ” refer to the section above”
•Row 51: sl 2 wyib, k26, ssk, k1, k2tog, knit to end - 59 sts
•columns 60 & 61 in the chart were changed to show correct slipped stitch (written instructions are correct)

MATERIALS
• 1 skein Dream in Color Smooshy – 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 620 yards per 170g skein – shown in September 2014
• US size 8 (5mm) straight or circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
