This hat is designed for 20-inch and 22-inch circumference. I found that the stretch in the brim allows for an inch additional if needed.

The name for is pattern is related to The Loopy Ewe Spring Fling and was gifted to the retreat members of 2013 in the large size.

This pattern can be knit in fingering weight held double or worsted weight, and I have knit one in DK weight using size 5US and size 7US with good results.
