This super-simple hat has one small detail that makes it truly unique: the garter tab and button ruche the fabric in a terribly fetching way, making this cloche-style hat a real head turner.

You only need about 25 yds for the contrasting button tab, so it’s another great opportunity to use some coordinating yarn that’s left over from another project.

Notions:
stitch markers (6)
1 small button (approximately 1/2” (13mm).

Skills Used:
joining/knitting in the round
k2tog and ssk decreases
using double pointed needles
picking up stitches on inside of hat (photo tutorial included!)

Shown in colorways “Flint Corn” (main color) and “Abigail” (contrasting button tab).
