Worked in the round until the armholes, and then divided into front and back, this is a jazzy little tank that combines a graceful, sexy ‘skirt’ with a modest bodice. The horseshoe lace melds into a modified lace stripe, then a rib as you move up the body; by the time you’re ready to cover the bosom, you’ve switched into a demure field of st st. But until then, you’ve had a lot of fun knitting (as you will have fun taunting the onlooker while wearing the piece). Since shoulders are bound off together, there’s no sewing at all.
