The Floral Peony scarf has a wonderful modern style and textured base with floral peonies and leaves adorning this design adding class and style to any wardrobe. Floral Blossoms finish off the design on the tip of the scarf to add that finishing touch. The blossoms represent new beginnings like the blossoms in spring reminding us of new and beautiful moments to come. A floral accented scarf for winter that can carry you through the cooler days of spring and fall. Designed with 1 skein of sock/fingerling weight yarn for the solid coloured scarf or add a touch of colour with other yarns.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: My finished measurements approximately 5 inches, 12.70 cm wide, 36 inches, 91.50 cm long.

YARN: 1 skein sock weight or fingerling weight yarn (approximately 400 yds / 365 m per skein) to make a solid coloured scarf as shown in the pink. If you want to make the multi-coloured scarf as shown in the gray add extra yarn of the same weight for the flowers and leaves. You can use most sock weight/fingerling weight yarns for this scarf. Shown in Tough Love Sock from SweetGeorgia Yarns.

HOOKS & NOTIONS
B -1 US / 2 – 2.25 mm crochet hook. Yarn needle to sew in ends. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge.

GAUGE: Gauge is 20 sts and 9 rows in pattern using dc = 4” / 10 cm.

BUTTONS: Use 2 buttons about 7/8 inch or 22 mm buttons or 11/16 inch or 18 mm button. Both sizes with work to fasten. Buttons are sewn on the WS of the scarf under the bottom 2 peonies.

PATTERN NOTES: Pattern is written using US crochet terminology. Pattern is crocheted flat.
