The mitts are knit from the cuff up in the round. They feature a gusset thumb with a wide leaf lace pattern on the cuffs and a simple floral eyelet pattern on the hands.

Note that this pattern contains instructions for both the cowl and the matching mitts.

You will need approximately 175 yards of a DK-weight yarn to complete the project as written. Note that the lace patterns are presented in charted form only.
