SUMMARY: Florence is a hip-length, cardigan sweater, featuring waist and princess shaping (to the bustline) and a sectioned peplum-like lower edge. The fitted cap sleeves also feature this ‘sectioned’ lower cuff edge. The cardigan is presented in either a high-neck, Polo collar version or a V-neck version. The smaller needle size indicated above is only required for the high-neck version. The entire sweater is worked in a Knit 1, Purl 1 Moss stitch pattern. The Polo collar is knit separately and sewn to the body in the finishing stages. The buttonholes are worked as part of the body – there is no separate buttonband and no collar edge finishing in the V-neck version.
