Update
I’ve received some valuable feedback on the sizing and needles to use. I will update this info on the pattern eventually, but while I work on the pdf, here’s some pointers to begin:
-I suggest needles 3.5mm to 4mm, or if you use regular Silk garden, 4.5 to 5mm.
-If the mitten doesn’t seem wide enough, you are add extra stitches on both sides. On both sides of mitten there is a two-stitch wide column in CC. Add stitches between the two stitches in the column. If you use increments of 3, it won’t interrupt the ribbing, either. If the mitten seems too short, add a couple of extra rows after the last row of the chart. You can also knit the first flourish of the chart twice.

Other info:
This pattern includes the charts for the flourishing mittens with a couple of pointers on how to adjust the size and go about on knitting the mittens. If you have knit mittens before, following the directions is simple, if you haven’t, you may feel the need to knit another pattern first and then come back to this one.

You can easily substitu the Luxus Stone yarn for any gray wool yarn that has similar texture and weight to Silk Garden. You can also use a heavier weight of Silk Garde to make a larger size. With SG Lite this pattern makes a small to medium sized mitten.
