Flower girls dolls
Meet Iris, Rose, Daisy and Marigold. These four little blossoms, standing at 30 cm (12 inches) tall, are knitted in one piece, which means little hands can’t pull off any arms or legs. They have a full wardrobe, including shoes, hats and a shoulder bag, also knitted in one piece. They even have their own little friend.
See my blog (link below) for a complete set of photos. The pattern is 32 pages and includes all the outfits shown here.
The yardages given here are for one doll + one dress in Cashmerino or one doll in Cashmerino and one dress in Cotton Glacé. If you make all the outfits in the pattern you will use more yarn than this, in numerous colours.
Depending on what you make, you will need additional materials such as toy stuffing, 6 mm (¼ inch) press studs, tapestry needle, sewing needle, stitch markers (both closed and opening are useful), yarn scraps for features, coloured pencils for cheeks and marking, round-headed pins or fading marker, sewing thread, embroidery cotton, 12 mm (½ inch) wide cotton sewing tape, shirring elastic (optional), 6 mm (¼ inch) or smaller two-hole buttons.
The dolls and everything else in this pattern except for the striped scalloped sleeveless dress are knitted in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. The striped dresses are knitted in Rowan Cotton Glacé.
